'The Rewildling'

These artworks were made in response to the Macmillan Children's Book Competition 2024. I made a narrative about a woman who loses her special pruning scissors in a world where plants and humans are one and the same. The goal was to make each spread more colourful as it went along to highlight her escape from the smoggy city into nature. It touches on the ecological and self-reflective themes I enjoy exploring.
